Healthy Breakfasts for Teachers

Here are 10 Teacher-Tested breakfasts that earn an A+ and a gold star:

  1. Greek yogurt with a handful of Honey Nut Cheerios® and some fruit! -Laura
  2. Spinach, mozzarella, egg casserole. Make it on the weekend. Cut into individual servings and refrigerate. Reheat in microwave for 30 seconds and it’s ready to go. Can be placed on toast for a sandwich. -Linda
  3. Toast a wrap with ham, cheese, and tomato. Bring to school and eat at desk. -Regina
  4. Hard boil eggs at the beginning of the week then nuke them for 15 seconds for a quick, warm breakfast that keeps you full. -Krystle Lynn
  5. Fruit and veggie smoothies: Sometimes I do banana, coconut milk, vegan protein powder, carrots, kale, cucumbers, mango, and some berries. I also drink some chai tea with coconut milk. Mmm! -Liz
  6. Cereal that’s high in protein with blueberries and almond milk, and some juice and coffee. -Amelia
  7. Peanut butter sandwich on the way to school. -Amy
  8. Egg beaters with Laughing Cow® cheese microwaved and put on Deli Flats® with green hot sauce: so yummy! -Heidi
  9. Make whole wheat waffles on the weekend (ww flour, ground flax seed, berries, vanilla, eggs, yogurt, baking soda and powder). Then, quarter the waffles and put them in a bag in the freezer. On weekday mornings pop a couple quarters in the toaster and voilà! Hearty and healthy! -Anita
  10. Steel cut oats made ahead in the Crock-Pot® with apples and cinnamon….mmmmm! -Collette
