I am happy to know a wonderful person, Canadian filmmaker Robyn Unwin, who kindly agreed to share with us her documentary about artist Joe Egoyan, father of Armenian-Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan.

The sincerity of this artist and his work is truly pictured through the documentary. After watching the film I’ve got the impression that I have been the interlocutor of the man, when he, so sincerely and so emotionally, shares with me his experience, feelings, vision…

All his art is about “human compassion “…, in what he believes.

Another reason why the film is dear to me is that in her documentary as a soundtrack Robyn uses the Armenian duduk music, a part of which is performed by an Hungarian-Armenian friend of mine László Szabó.
