Here are 10 Teacher-Tested breakfasts that earn an A+ and a gold star:
- Greek yogurt with a handful of Honey Nut Cheerios® and some fruit! -Laura
- Spinach, mozzarella, egg casserole. Make it on the weekend. Cut into individual servings and refrigerate. Reheat in microwave for 30 seconds and it’s ready to go. Can be placed on toast for a sandwich. -Linda
- Toast a wrap with ham, cheese, and tomato. Bring to school and eat at desk. -Regina
- Hard boil eggs at the beginning of the week then nuke them for 15 seconds for a quick, warm breakfast that keeps you full. -Krystle Lynn
- Fruit and veggie smoothies: Sometimes I do banana, coconut milk, vegan protein powder, carrots, kale, cucumbers, mango, and some berries. I also drink some chai tea with coconut milk. Mmm! -Liz
- Cereal that’s high in protein with blueberries and almond milk, and some juice and coffee. -Amelia
- Peanut butter sandwich on the way to school. -Amy
- Egg beaters with Laughing Cow® cheese microwaved and put on Deli Flats® with green hot sauce: so yummy! -Heidi
- Make whole wheat waffles on the weekend (ww flour, ground flax seed, berries, vanilla, eggs, yogurt, baking soda and powder). Then, quarter the waffles and put them in a bag in the freezer. On weekday mornings pop a couple quarters in the toaster and voilà! Hearty and healthy! -Anita
- Steel cut oats made ahead in the Crock-Pot® with apples and cinnamon….mmmmm! -Collette
